1-2-1 Meetings will be offered as value-added opportunity to meet with Libyan buyers including speakers and attendees interested in how US companies can help in advancing Libya’s current and planned projects.
This is offered to all attendees on a first-come, first-served basis.
1-2-1 meetings “matches” “attendees” with participating “Libyans” including speakers, large oil companies, and participating attendees who are currently active in Libya.
1-2-1 Meetings will take place on:
Thursday, October 28 from 10:30am to 5:00pm.
Friday, October 29 from 10:30am to 5:00pm.
How Does 1-2-1 Meetings Work? How Do I Participate?
Register for the Conference – In order to participate in 1-2-1 Meetings, each individual must first register for the conference by completing the registration form (Click here to register). After completing the registration process, your account representative will email you 1-2-1 form to complete your company’s capability statement.
As an attendee, you are able to select up to five (5) Libyans to request a meeting with them.
Requesting 1-2-1 Appointments
Request for 1-2-1 appointments will open on October 4, 2021 at 1:00 PM EDT. You will receive an e-mail reminder the week of September 27 and again the morning of October 4. Before requesting a meeting, be sure to read the product/services the Libyans are searching for.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Appointment requests for the 1-2-1 prescheduled meetings fill up early. Be sure to request sessions with your Libyans as soon as you receive the email notification that sign-up has begun.
Notification of Accepted/Declined Appointments from Libyans: Libyans will be notified via e-mail or calls on requested appointments by attendees. Libyans will review capability statements before accepting or declining appointments by attendees.
Attendees: Please be patient. Allow Libyans ample time to review capability statements. Attendees will be notified via e-mail on the Libyan’s decision to accept or decline appointments. If Libyans decline your appointments, the Libyans will state the reason why he/she declined.
FAQs
*How long are the 1-2-1 Appointments?
Appointments are in 15-minute increments with a 10-minute break in between each appointment.
*How many appointments will I receive?
Each attendee is allowed five (5) appointment requests.
*What if I want to meet with other Libyans?
You can stay outside of the 1-2-1 meeting rooms and check with the organizer’s representative to see if a Libyan has an opening or you can check if the Libyan is speaking at the event.
*Can I register onsite?
We highly recommend early registration due to the preparation that will go into the individual attendance and participation in the 1-2-1 program. When you register onsite for 1-2-1, we cannot guarantee if there will be any open appointments once LoGS starts. We encourage businesses who want to meet with Libyans* to stay in the 1-2-1 area as we will make announcements of Libyans who may be willing to meet with additional attendees.

*How many from my firm can attend 1-2-1 meetings?
We allow two representatives to meet with Libyans per appointment but all representatives must be registered for the conference.
You can register as many as you want from your firm, as you will increase your firm’s networking opportunities, taking advantage of our 12+ hours of networking, so they can create opportunities and partnerships.
